Why is the EU obligated to treat every country the same way? Canada presents different economic opportunities and challenges than the UK. Or, if you want to say it was due to politics, who was bashing who?

It's just the idea that vague terms get misused so much I demand the specific. "Anti" anything can just mean you aren't "pro" it enough, or not pro a particular version. So for restricting speech, you could sa

Silicon Valley started with companies doing defense contracting. Like many here, I disagree with a lot of current policies of the US. But I don't want the US to be weak or vulnerable. Tech is our strength. Silicon Valley should be

Yes the price keeps going up, but every purchase is 100% optional. Please explain to me the reason why anyone needs any of these. What kind of person has all of these subscriptions? If you have YouTube TV and Spotify that is $22.

When I was working on early 3D video games in the 1990s, all these companies would give you prototype 3D cards to make sure what you made was compatible. This was pre-direct X. On Battlezone, many of us had different video cards to maint

Children of Ruin is about advanced Octopi, not as good as Children of Time, but interesting. That series or Fire Upon the Deep are really good for conceptualizing truly alien intelligence.

Wow I felt this post and trust me I am never asking the question! I work in a job where people make "creative" proposals (we say pitches or decks) to me almost every day. The length and word count has exploded. I can't sa

This. I think people in California (like me) have trouble seeing the things Texas does well because of partisanship. It's bad for California not to see when another state does a thing better.
