Naiive question.. If the opcodes are the same, how can you go from a stack machine to a register one?

I remember learning in school that it's a relatively simple stack machine, but when I look at the instruction set online it's actually ~200 opcodes.. Not what I'd describe as "simple, straightforward"

Yeah, sorry.. i didn't mean to endorse MediaWiki. It did look kinda ugly as well.. haha What do you recommend? It does actually seem that djot has a grammar of sorts.. https://github.com/treeman/tree-sitter-djot&#x

b/c I think people start from the syntax and then think about how to parse it later? A simple grammar probably really limits how you can design your syntax. Here is an example of the problems: https://roopc.net/posts&#x

It feels like a long term solution would be to use a markdown that is both easy to write (not RTF or XHTML), but has a defined grammar in some standard format (ex: EBNF). Most platform/languages will have a parser and so you can whip u

This is outside my area of expertise.. so naiive question.. but ports aren't tied to the protocol .. right? If you open a raw socket, it's still on some associated port number. NAT traversal multiplexes ports.. so why would that p

Well you're typically not thinking of a compilation step with Clojure.. so I found the original question a bit not-applicable The goal isn't to introduce .. a compilation step? but to have the program blow up in the spot where the

why not just program to protocols? For complex data structures I typically just hide details behind a protocol and deal with the set of interface functions. You can then freely mess with the internals and not worry about details

Yeah this kind of kindergarten explanation I've seen.. This is making a bunch of simplification that aren't helpful With a phased array you're beam forming and sweeping an area of space. Your signal returns are from the beam

This is actually the first time I've seen the SAR algorithm explained. Every SAR project I've seen glosses over this part. Wonder if anyone else has seen more resources on this? Going to try to digest the linked paper.. https:&#x

Yeah, keeping it within a subculture has its benefits. I don't mean to be overly judgmental or saying how things should be. I just wouldn't have guessed thing would have gone this way. I'd argue that the early Google was a bi
