Maybe this is a little bit OT, but I think the biggest problem with the baby boomers is that, 12 years after '68, Reagan is elected and the whole generation basically turned their back on their youthful idealism and proceeded to create the

I think you did a very good job shoehorning the key phrases 'wealth creation', 'big government' and 'private sector' into your appearance so that you could get the bloomberg audience on your side. Nicely done.

I'd love to see these learning centers have certificate programs so that you can get the piece of paper that we still need these days.

You can get a 5/3 for 1/10 of that price (literally just saw one listed for 65k) in Pittsburgh. And Pittsburgh was one of the few places not hit that hard by the real estate downturn.

The end of Google health was really sad. A centralized medical records system would be an incredible time and money saver for healthcare. Although I'd love a self-driving car, and I think it will certainly save a lot of lives.

Taleb is an excellent writer and not (as someone here has stated) someone completely delusional. He, in fact, worked in the financial industry for many years and I thoroughly enjoyed reading his book "The Black Swan"[1] about how we've basi

I heard about stigler through the excellent documentary "Der Ister"[1] which was a very good treatment of time and heidegger's philosophy of technology. Thanks for the info on this other book. [1] http://www.theister.com/
