The entire story highlights the double standards of governments and the people they serve. Government tells us if we have nothing to hide we shouldn't worry about the invasive intrusions into our privacy but when government's priv

Given that docker is simply an abstraction of the various kernel functions it is arguable that eliminating the docker piece and directly managing the kernel functions would be more secure. Problem there is it requires a significant learning

America doesn't suck, I spent the last 6 months in the EU and I miss what we have here. That said, the issue you are talking about is directly related to large corporate profits. A hard reset is what it will take to change that. I do n

Perhaps Monsanto ? The US needs a hard reset, there wont be a simple method to fix what is broken here.

It seems like the folks making docker files could stand to learn package management with a mature package system before making docker files. I wonder how many use docker after they learn ?

Things like this are always interesting to me. It's interesting that people who were subject to this sort of treatment created the constitution limiting the US govt. It's interesting that people who aren't subject to this sor

You do realize the ability of the representative to override the majority vote in a republic was by design as the founders (read Madison's Federalist No. 10) did not trust the general public to make good choices (democracy). You can co

These layers of abstraction are nice but they seem to ignore the fact you still have to manage the systems underneath and the networking around it. At some point folks need to realize they arent google and they really dont need to abstract

Thats nice for a scooter. Imagine how big that battery would be and how hard it would be to get to a tractor stuck 3 miles from a road. Personal transportation is not the largest user of petroleum.

Carrying a battery to a car / truck / tractor way out in the middle of nowhere ( US has those places ) would be extremely difficult. Regardless of their availability. Bio diesel is renewable... batteries are not.

It will be interesting to see if Elon can push electricity and batteries in time to get over the momentum petroleum has. I actually see hemp and bio diesel being easier to push because it could leverage the huge existing infrastructure.

Check the rules around who can and cant access data. Employees can access data regardless of where they live. The more you learn about how things work the less comfortable you should be :)

Currently the US has an impact on the world markets. Not just the EU. While everyone agrees Trump is a buffoon the fact he is leveraging that in an attempt to benefit the US is waking people up to that fact.
