There is no way you can seriously believe this would still be going on had it not been for Sam. There would have been someone else siphoning off funds. This thing obviously didn't scale well. The naïveté is astounding.

It was stated that this was a social experiment. Given the fact that everyone knew what would happen, I hardly think this constitutes abuse. Diverting the money to a more worthy (in his view) cause, as some people were using it to buy food

These will never be available over the counter because they would lead to a rash of suicides by people who test positive and are infected as well as the false positives. HIV testing is generally done in conjunction with professional support

I think it's completely fair to respond to a public blog post here. The professor invited the response when he accused his students of giving him a poor rating for the wrong reasons. If I was a student of his, I would probably be offended.
