Totally in love with Alpine Linux as well. I wrote a few guides how to use it, including making a minimal file server [1] or hoow to PXE boot Alpine Linux with NFS storage and even Desktop Environments [2] Also in my homelab I have a Docker

I was never able to move from PHP to something else. I tried nodejs for a few months but it always seemed much more complicated. Especially the dependency and build system. With PHP to move my code to a production system I just need to run

Very true. Before I found Alpine I used a heavily modified raspbian with a root read-only ramdisk which also worked but Alpine did it out of the box without having to modify everything

Strange, when I try to run the sample I get a flashing red text below the code: "pat.fmap(...).trigzeroJoin is not a function" [edit] after refreshing the browser I got a different sample which worked. Nice!

This is actually why I switched all my Pis to Alpine Linux since they use a RAM disk by default for RaspPis Haven't lost an SD card since, meanwhile my Octoprint RasPi has failed 4 times (mostly because of random power disconnects)

It's still a good multiplayer game. I used to play with my students on special occations in 2016 (teacher in an academic highschool) because FC runs on any hardware evenwithout dedicated GPUs. I always told them I'd let them go 15

It's almost unimaginable today that browser traffic used to be unencrypted and people in your network or down the line to your target could see and modify your traffic. In 2013 I wrote an article about how to turn a Squid proxy into a

While I can't see "Boeing" (as a whole command structure) can be blamed for his death I do see the possibility of some corrupt person in a high position fearing what he had on him personally and ordered a strike against him.

I did just the same. Built myself a little movable 6 node rack out of wood. With 3d printed powerbrick holders on the sides and a switch with a 10g uplink so all servers can use the full 1g nic. Warms my home office in the colder months and
