People fuck around at the office - a lot. Staring at phones, videos on the toilet, etc. That's lack of work ethic, not from location.

From your description, you created from another country? Perhaps non-western? I am not familiar with their internals but am assuming they deal with spam/scams and you are an unfortunate casualty.

Maybe I'm missing some context, but how is some comment calling him weird related to right wing forums and needs the entire thread removed?

Honestly to biggest issues I've had with overseas devs and managers (mostly India) is the lying and misrepresenting which is cultural.

Work ethic and trust culture are big ones as well. Though admittedly some leaders love the "yes boss" vibe of overseas devs, even if they are lying to your face.

I think WFH should stand for Where's Fucking Housing because that's like 90% of the "WFH crowd"'s motivation from what I've seen - since companies almost never pay enough to live near enough to their office. I

Yeah it's one of those things I just don't agree with them from practical experience. No beef against utility classes in general just not for everything. In fact I really like Bootstrap's which are just enough to help, but

I agree, but that approach seems to be uncommon or at least discouraged by the Tailwind creator. I'd actually recommend Tailwind shops use the DaisyUI plugin which gives component classes similar to Bootstrap.

To be fair, a lot of people miss that Bootstrap is themeable, and what you are complaining about is just the default theme. E.g. check out https://bootswatch.com for examples, many aren't flatsville. I've had confused

It's basically just PR to put a positive spin on layoffs: "We aren't doing poorly financially - we're being smarter by using AI ". Especially if they are hawking AI products or features to customers.

Hegseth has stated on record that he doesn't think women should be in physical, in-person combat roles like infantry. He has stated he has no problems with women pilots, etc. so the GP is exaggerating.

Sure, that is nice - though TBH that kind of feels like a workaround for Svelte's one file, one component design. React doesn't have this issue and can define as many components wherever you like.

I'm in agreement, really loved Svelte 1, 2, and 3, but the v5 changes feel like a needle scratch unfortunately. I love Rich Harris' work and appreciate what he gives to the community, but man he loves to rethink things.
