I find Orwell to be a much better writer than Asimov, and 1984 was praised by people like Bertrand Russell (who was arguably a greater writer than either of them, even winning a Nobel Prize). Also, Orwell was shot in the neck in Spain while

What I like most about ProofWiki is its sometimes nonstandard notations. For example, the interval notation: https://proofwiki.org/wiki/Definition:Real_Interval/Notation

The story is interesting, but it's obvious it's fake. For starters, you wouldn't just happen to find yourself sitting next to Einstein in 1955, and it only gets more improbable after that.

I try not to use nonstandard software unless it's something I spend a lot of time on. The shell became very important to my work recently, and only then I started looking for alternatives to bash and zsh.

I only learned about this application of logarithms years after learning the definition. Usually the applications are not obvious to students and this goes on even at the university level.

I had a teacher in the University who took some courses taught by Feynman and had the same experience. He even tried to record some of the lectures, but the result was similar. While he was listening, he felt like everything was very clear.

I believe we can clearly see how not having enough piracy can hurt technological advances in Japan. Since Japanese people don’t download illegal stuff streaming services are not as developed there as in the US. For example, you can’t find a
