Ok just read wikipedia to know that ultrabook is a Intel trademark. And that it's not a beefed up netbook as i assumed. So none of the 3 i have are ultrabooks. And neither is the apple stuff according to wikipedia, so off you go downvoting

The ips screen has more up/down blind color spots than the cheap version. Can't say about color quality, but I'm cursing myself for getting one since i have to move my head up/down when i have to read the very top and very bottom of the scr

The x and t thinkpads have the same price issue of apple. Plus the added disadvantage of no physical retailer to see the machine before buying.

Its clitmouse. :) and i recommend you enable the touchpad for scrolling. On X you can configure all the area.

He mention price. Didn't he? No matter how much you downvote me, it still will cost 3x more than another model for the informed consumer. I know because all notebooks i have costs at least 1/3 of the apple equivalent.

Real world usage is relative. In my real world case a change in loop mattered a lot for ie6 users (60% of our use base at the time, sadly). It was .5sec that we couldn't get from other means.

if your code is 'live' and you plan ahead a few features: feature branches. if you are running as fast as you can for the first releases, what i do is use feature prefixes on the commits. And of course, a commit can have several prefixes. o
