Or on the other hand, it seems that the real crime is that you have to pay to see the movies. Art and entertainment are both the shared inheritance of all humans, and all humans have the inherent right to freely and indefinitely enjoy them.

You can get places nearly that cheap without leaving the US even, you just have to be willing to be in a cheap state.

SpaceX was well underway, but they would have gone bankrupt without investment from NASA.

Ten years ago, it was unknown if the technology behind SpaceX would pan out. No one doubted that the economics would work if the technology also did.

The 13” Intel MacBook Pro only had two ports. It was occasionally frustrating to deal with, and the only reason it wasn’t more so was a USB hub. Source: I had one up until last week.

I don’t own any Bitcoins and I never have, but if I did, I could at least buy some goods with them. Not most of those, but I have in fact seen real life stores that accept Bitcoin as currency.

Having a monopoly isn’t illegal. Using a monopoly to give you market power in another area is illegal. Windows can have a monopoly perfectly legally, they just can’t use that monopoly to give themselves a monopoly on, say, web browsers.

It doesn’t load correctly on my recent iPhone. The text doesn’t display and the images are glitchy. So apparently they’re not trying to sell to anyone with an iPhone.

It doesn’t work well on my iPhone either, so they’re just not making it for phone users of any kind, which seems like a poor choice.

Huh, I don’t know what’s up with that page, but it works horribly on my recent iPhone. Like, not just that it’s conceptually bad, but the text flickers, images appear for a second and then disappear, and it’s not smooth at all. Maybe it wor

The issue comes when the politician comes back to you and says “Hey, I gave you a great deal on that painting, can you do a favor for me?” Extracting money from bad sources is good as long as you absolutely positively don’t extract anything

The problem is not just the 3D effect, but more crucially the two screens.

It’s not cynicism that he’s interfering when it’s obvious - literally Trump making statements on his Twitter. As for the money into his pocket; no need, the reasoning for Trump is that it makes his voters like him (since they dislike China)

...perhaps other than the breakfast part, that’s exactly what most teenagers do every morning (at least in non-COVID) times. Certainly children don’t, if you’re only talking about prepubescent children, but they’re also not particularly rel

Some passwords are too long - I wouldn’t expect any website to accept a gigabyte long password - and I wouldn’t judge a site that doesn’t accepts \0 either.

I’m not an Apple fankid but the predictive keyboard and speech to text work wonderfully on my iPhone and I use Siri everyday with no problems. Google’s is probably better, but the different is not a meaningful one from what I can tell.
