Thanks for sharing this! Its interesting to know Microsoft tried this 10 years ago. They might eventually bring it back, after making sure all their other applications work on ..nix :) They are definitely sowing the seeds now, with .NET sup

A month ago, I tried the getting started on Apple's website. Even that had deprecated syntax =:) Btw, Xcode still doesn't support refactoring Swift code

Microsoft is adapting at a good pace, going beyond the windows ecosystem. Last time I used SQL server, it didn't support sharding across machines, so only supported vertical scaling (unless you buy the appliance or add sharding logic

They'll move 3x. When oil falls 1%, UWTI rises 3% and DWTI falls 3%. That's good for a short term bet if it goes your way. In the long term it corrodes the value. Lets say UWTI is trading at 100 today. Oil is trading at 50. Day1:

This is an awesome book. I read it online back in 2006 (one of the few books I followed from start to end). Even though I mostly programmed in other languages, the approach and techniques in this book enormously improved me as a programmer.
