You misunderstand. Any trichromat could see those colors as well, they would just need to be much closer to the object in order to distinguish them. You are still thinking about them seeing more colors. They see more detail in color. Detail

The title is misleading. The extra cone allows tetrachromats to appreciate individual colors that the normal optic system would “average” into a single hue. The visible spectrum is the same for tetrachromats: they cannot see infrared or ult

Color does exist. The wavelength of light that is reflected by an object is its color. That wavelength can be measured objectively.

The display monitor would make a considerable difference in the reliability of the test. As the article and the name of the condition state, there is a physical difference in the optic system that causes this condition. No subjective analys

Brave stops ads from tracking you but the browser itself records your browsing behavior and allows ads to use that anonymized data to target ads to you. Their marketing always mentions the former and never mentions the latter. The goal of B

You’re probably right, but this is not a paradox. There is an answer that is logically sound without conflating the semantics beyond their reasonably-assumed meaning.

What does it matter if the teacher is from Crete? Being a Cretan does not make one a cretan. You don’t need to be a stoic to realize that.

If it is a biology class then it is inherently an evolution class. Evolution is the central theory of biology and all of its sub-fields.

I just put my stack of Pis in front of a Noctua NF-S12A and it cools them all very effectively, even under heavy load, without the need for any goofy hardware that blocks additions like the GPIO extender or any other HATs I may want to add.

There are well-established benefits of CBD use in some patients covering a wide variety of symptoms, but pushing skin care pseudoscience is wrong. Isolated evidence like that of anti-inflammatory effects is not the same as an extensive clin

On AWS K8s provisioning a basic 4-node cluster to sit there and do nothing costs over $300 per month. The amount you spend in a year can be used to build an unreasonably powerful cluster in your home or office.

There’s a pattern in the code that I don’t understand. I looks like all top-level variables are assigned with “const” whereas variable assignments in blocks use “let” even if they are not reassigned. What is the reason for that?

Kind (Kubernetes-in-Docker) is already around and it is somewhat of a niche use case. Minikube also exists to satisfy most of the use cases for single-node clusters on a development machine. Docker does not automatically make software safe.
