Bitcoins are better for that matter since you don't have to worry so much about storage. You can easily cross a border with them. Or you can create a brainwallet (basically a passphrase that recreates a wallet), delete any data of the bit

Iceland is already a growing economy, while Greece, Spain and all the other troubled euro countries aren't.

I think for people living in Europe it makes more sense to use Bitcoin Central, since they accept SEPA transfers in euros without needing to convert them to dollars before buying bitcoins: https://bitcoin-central.net/ https://en.bitcoin.

You don't need a bank for your bitcoins. You can keep them in your laptop or smartphone and the Government wouldn't even know you have it there. And even if they did they cannot force you to decrypt your hard drive. You can even keep you

That's not a default, it's a new loan. Answer this question: What percentage of Cyprus debt has been defaulted? That is, what percentage isn't going to be paid at all?

Yes and no. Governments are spending in bank bailouts, but there's austerity for the masses, like tax hikes and cuts in social spending.

Where's the default? I don't read anywhere that Cyprus is defaulting in part of its debt. EDIT: Why the downvote? Please explain what percentage of the debt is being defaulted, that is, what is the percentage of Cyprus debt that isn't goi

If you want a negative view on Bitcoin, the one from the Rational Wiki is pretty good: http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Bitcoin Although after reading it I'm still convinced that Bitcoin is a good thing and that its use and value will go up.
