As an end-user, I prefer a good package manager. Snap & Flatpak both have their trade-offs. I find both of them not worth my time.

I'm fortunate enough to work for a small company with a tight group of devs. We have daily stand-up and I'm pretty much left to research and code for the rest of the day. I'd say I code about 80% of the day.

4 years experience at 140k is an insult IMHO. You claim you can easily find ppl w 5+ years experience, but I find that claim dubious. What you're willing to pay and what value we add seem to be vastly different.

I've lived there and tried to find work when I was at a Junior level and had no luck. That was during Covid. I had more luck just networking a lot and trying to make connections with people who work remotely.

There are two factors that make me think Uber isn't sustainable. One is that they're relying on drivers being contractors, which won't last. The second issue is that Tesla is coming and nobody will be able to compete with not
