I don't tend to have a headache afterwards, but your description matches up to my experience of coming around after fainting. I tend to feel fuzzy and dreamlike and it takes a few seconds to work out what's going on.

This reminds me of the article a few years ago that indicated that Warren Buffett had a lower effective tax rate than his secretary, even though he made heaps more. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/money/tax/article1996735.ec...

That is kind of true - ING do call it a PIN. The thing is that all I can do with the PIN is to log on to their online banking site. That makes it a password in my opinion. If I want to use my card at an ATM say, they require me to use a dif

Many of Charles Dickens' works were written in this way. They were published in periodicals and magazines, and he would normally be writing them as they were being published, rather than writing the whole book first.

I'd guess the way the Paul Chambers incident was dealt with was as harsh as it is because the underwear bomber story happened about three weeks before his tweet. No one in the chain of people he dealt with wanted to be in the position the p

My guess was that it was some kind of count of the number of messages passed between the different chrome processes - but it probably grows way too fast for that to be the case. I found this post: http://www.sorcerers-isle.net/article/goat

If you do it in the database, you don't have to shunt all the values across the wire from the database server. If the middle tier is on a different machine, this can make a significant difference to the time taken to do the query.

Using this as the policy at your company does mean that you probably need to be marketing your company as a great place to work. If no one knows why your company would be a great place to work, it's a bit unfair to expect them to write abou

I know someone who drives a Ferrari and really enjoys it - and he's nearly 50. You've got to be pretty old before you're too old to enjoy driving a nice car.
