I aggree with your point and the first comment about seatbelts, thanks for that perspective. The reason I personally still see an issue is that personification of AI is an actual issue, while personification of seatbelts and spears is not.

Minor nitpick about the headline. AI didn't help, it was used to identify a therapeutic candidate. I dislike personification of AI because people treat it as something religious already. AI doesn't do anything, the people using
