I have an eMac with a CRT screen, and it seems to be missing nearly all of the artifacts people associate with a CRT screen. I'm guessing vintage TVs were worse than the eMac.

Would it be possible to have Android devices that have attestation, but with a one-way switch to disable attestation and allow users to root?

Being offline helps. I've recently taken to writing on a Power Mac G5 paired with a Cinema display. Nothing fancy, just a window of TextEdit. No notifications or Internet to distract. A silent operating system running on a loud tower.

My personal hypothesis is that TSMC's timelines for Apple slipped and the M2 was originally supposed to be a cooler 3nm chip. Instead we have hotter GPU cores built on the same 5nm process.

I fired up Firefox and Chrome on Kubuntu on a 2008 iMac and was surprised to find that Firefox could play 1080p video on YouTube but Chrome kept dropping frames at 480p. It's definitely worth trying both to see which is faster.

I have sensitive skin that turns red easily in the sun, especially at the locations where I have scars from acne and other injuries. With my atrophic scars, we know that UV can reduce collagen levels which would reduce the healing potential

I don't want a camera as a webcam. I don't want a device that only works sometimes and has to be setup before use. I don't want a camera that is so good all of my pores are in view. A small amount of blurriness is a feature,

I'm curious about why it needs to be low power. The electricity needed for most computers doesn't cost very much, at least not in the US. You could get away with using an old laptop instead of a Pi and difference in cost of power
