People have incentives. Google employees likely are there to have the experience on their resume and monetize later. Mozilla people work for a non profit, hence they are probably motivated by social activism rather than money or fame.

Update: after writing this I checked again, and with the latest update to the Nextcloud iOS app it is possible to directly open and save the Keepass database from Nextcloud. No need for BoxCryptor anymore. Hurray for Nextcloud!

Same here, the setup is working great I use Keepass2Android, which works great with Nextcloud and handles very well offline usage and subsequent merge of the database. On iOS the experience is much worse: I use KeePassium but it does not co

The application does not perform this check automatically, it is a report that you have to request explicitly. There is also a warning upon request that a remote request will be performed.

Yeah me too. I have to say that even if I love Linux and run it on all my personal machines, the keyboard shortcuts of Windows tend to be much more effective than let's say KDE or Gnome. Control+shift+N to make new folders, win + arrow

You might want to give KDE Plasma a shot: it handles scaling quite well. I find it much superior wrt Gnome, but that's a matter of preferences of course.
