I know some people who quickly give up and renounce using the service, when they run into hCaptcha puzzles. I've been bewildered for some time as well, honestly, it took me a while to figure out the first I ran into. And trying one now

Any directory that Google lets you access , which is very far from every directory. For example, without using Google'' backup you can't backup the data of other apps, such as games' progress.

It's probably Play Integrity, indeed, which most of all checks if the user downloaded the app from the Play Store (and so requires a Google account, and being logged in to it on the phone).

There's a lot of good that happens via internet communication, social media is inherently toxic. Despite some crazy wider definitions I ran into, social media traditionally meant things similar to Facebook, so real names, over-sharing

There's no need for a login to track you with "first-party cookies", looking at the IP is perfectly adequate, at most adding some fingerprinting if you really want. The only problem is that then the tracking companies have to

I don't recall a browser that didn't let you disable third-party cookies; given how long ago cookies were introduced, I could have forgotten about it, but I'm at least sure that Mozilla always supported it. Firefox, especiall
