I have nothing but respect for Nikolaus, and SSHFS is absolutely a cornerstone of IT, but if you think the original project was protecting you from vulnerabilities.. I have a bridge to sell you. I also don't really understand what your

Not too dissimilar to what they're doing at Tesla with the self-driving beta, really.

I don't necessarily trust my memory from 20 years ago, but I do recall both the initial VHS release and the DVD version I got a couple years later both having the green tint. It's one of the things that floored me as an impression

A really interesting hack I do, personally, is to stop reading Reddit when it’s time to go to sleep—-or even just be productive while awake! It’s not quite the same as when Mommy tucks me into bed and turns the lights off, but I still find

I'm not 100% against this being an astroturf campaign, but there's literally never been a single idea the past 6-7 years you've felt this strongly to post about, ad nauseam, until this exact thing? 200+ tabs open for $30+ a m

Because spending $500 dollars a month versus having the control to close a tab you don't really need to track is inane. Would you pay that recurring fee out of your own pocket to improve your own productivity? That doesn't seem li

How many of those 200+ tabs are you actually tracking versus a bunch of windows you blindly close out later because they didn't actually matter? What is the upper limit on productivity? Being able to keep 500 tabs open at the same time

You're paying THEM to update their servers at a price point you could easily match or come in lower on YOUR workstation upgrades. I don't understand how people are trying to justify this cost.

Pardon me for being rude, but this seems like a pretty naive marketing take on what they're offering. What exactly is the use case here? Employees that have hundreds of tabs open saving a couple seconds loading web pages? How much prod

I mean no offense, but the consumer version (as OP linked) strikes me as FOSS's answer to the IoT Fridge, a wholly unnecessary device itself. I'm all about freeing mental bandwidth, but if you can't remember whether or you bo

Thank you very much; this is a very detailed post that covers several things I was wholly unaware of. One minor gripe: > However, what's perhaps more useful is that the Navy continues to offer a telephone time service (202-762-1401)
