Energy independence is rapidly being realized for it's value I agree but I don't think it has much to do with a weakening USA. I'd argue it's more to do with a shift in national strategic considerations around the globe

Right but in these scenarios the similarities to a prior work are the cause of the problem they might face. It's stifling to the musician sure but not in a way that's preventing anything actually unheard before.

I think the more likely truth is that people crave utility and compelling novelty. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc. all either had/have usefulness that their predecessors lacked or packaged themselves in a novel way that was enjoyable
