The issue is that the undesired language constructs one would like to remove are not universal. What is an improvement for one user group will be a regression for another & vice versa.

Personally I am rather uncomfortable with the idea of 'correcting' the learning process to have the machine output what we think it should instead of what it objectively learns from the dataset. It is trading a bias against an ide

In my experience, the main draw of repair cafes is not actually repairing things, but the social experience. The fact that things are repaired in the open, with drinks & snacks available creates a small community setting that is attract

I'm confused about the setTimeout example; the code as presented is creating an infinite loop, so it does not surprising that the object used in the loop is not garbage collected. But I would expect references inside a timer to be coll

The plastic that ends up in the ocean comes from places & countries that have no waste management at all besides dumping garbage directly in rivers and the ocean. I doubt that's the case for Taiwan.

What is the rationale ? Are disposable plastic bags really that much worse than reusable / paper bags ? From what I understand plastic waste is usually burned for electricity or heat in industrial processes, and it's not that much
