I remember even back in the early 2000s https for credit card forms was pretty common. Surprised a company like Pandora wasn't with it by thr 2010s.

I think I also fit into this category. Minor to medium productivity boost and maybe some stylistic evolving, but largely no complaints because it's just another tool I use sometimes.

Freenode melted down a few years back, there was a lot of drama around what happened, but I don't think it's active anymore and if it is, it's probably not what you remember. The community splintered and moved to other hosts.

Thanks for putting those together and commenting, I may have missed that connection on my own. I think his McDonalds test is particularly interesting, and while it probably has some holes, I think it has some merit as at least a leading ind

I don't begrudge folks trying to make a decent wage. I also have to agree that it seems a few factors have all combined to make the experience pretty bad for the consumer. Order kiosks, long waits for food, skyrocketing prices all cont

With Claude code you can have a personal, project (shared) and project local set of memory files. I would put the bits about clarifying questions in your personal (machine level) claude.MD file so it applies across projects.

That has not been my experience, Copilot using Claude is way different than claude code for me. Anecdotal, and "vibes" based, but it'd what I've been experiencing.

While I don't disagree that determining usage is incredibly difficult, it doesn't take a genius to see that something sold "by the million" is something you can expect to to use a lot of.

Living up to your screen name I see, but in all seriousness, I fully agree. The average person running the laptops in a spare bedroom may have no idea the scope of what they're involved with. Especially if they're being duped as w

Are those costs from the pay as you go credit system or is that on top of a max subscription? I've tinkered with the pay as you go, but wonder if a higher cap on max for 100/month would be worth it?
