That seems a plausible outcome. Pretty dystopian for sure, but plausible. Sadly the cat is out of the bag, so banning it for the general public means that only the bad guys have it and they're already presumably doing illegal things so

I ran a server that was primarily rat surf maps with a Warcraft/RPG server mod for years back then. It was super fun and something that modern games just can't touch in terms of that kind of niche.

Probably my cynicism but its the more stores you drive past the more likely you are to stop off and buy something.

I also struggle with frontend, can you share any more about how you did this? All local? From a service? My usage so Fae is limited to copilot, but I'd like to try other things.

Mature? Yes. Better than Gdocs, debatable, but IMO yes. Replacement for the desktop app? Not quite, but it depends on which feature you specifically need.

How do you MITM their own devices? Do you require installing root certs to access WiFi? What if they just use cellular data?

I have been using MinVer for dotnet projects, which is similar but a little easier (IMO) to work with since its all based on tags.

There's nothing wrong with the name cold brew. It describes the difference from "standard" coffee. It is the charlatans selling warm brew over ice that devalue it. As someone that greatly prefers coffee brewed cold and served

I spam all the buttons on any pump to attempt to mute it, and like you have had success with top right, or second from top on the right having the highest success. In my area, I'm only about 1/4 in being able to mute it, but when

No. They charge a yearly fee for their "nitro" product which offers some perks in any server you're in. Each server can setup their own perks (emoji, reactions l, user name color, etc) for nitro users that join.

You accurately, amusingly, and concisely articulated the situation. In a way that underscores the absurdity of it.

I don't have the answer, but have been seeking it for a long time myself. Heard the same advise you got, make a community, join communities, post on twitter/reddit. As you said it just feels like fake advise. As best I can tell, s

When you say passive web page, do you mean a simple .htm file with no php (or other) server side language? Or do you mean it's fully managed by PayPal using a gui/admin portal?

Thank you for saying that. I was looking for something profound after reading this, and either the article doesn't explain this new theory well, or it is as you say splitting hairs.

I'm one of those boomerang employees. It was the best thing I ever did. Left on good terms, learned a ton of new stuff at a few other companies, and ultimately came back a much improved employee, despite being a high performing worker

What a horrible way to live. Dependent on others for even basic needs. I'm not arguing you have to be 100% self sufficient, but learning to read what amounts to a specific font shouldn't be too much to ask.

Uber has not been cheaper than a taxi for years now. Definitely not since the pandemic started. People take Uber now because it's about the same cost as a taxi, but the credit card machine is never broken, and they can be summoned on d

Trains would not be battery operated and have no risk of spilling the toxic battery components. They'd be powered by third rail or overhead wires. That is how most pure electric trains are powered today already.

It depends on your definition of contribute. You aren't entitled to have your PR merged to the main project, but you are entitled to fork the project and make your changes over there. The first is contributing directly to the project,
