It'll work just fine on an iPad, several folks are doing so (Goodnotes and Notability are the most common apps people use for loading and annotating the pdf). I've done a little work towards color themes to better support the iPad

Hey, hyperpaper creator here! That's exactly what it is– a pdf planner that you can customize to your own needs, with lots of contextual links. Happy to answer any questions, and thanks chrisweekly for the kind words and shoutout

Try finding work as a sole proprietor contractor, remotely for a US company. It's cheaper for them vs hiring an in-office employee, and with higher US tech salaries and currency conversion, you'll generally come out ahead too

Seconding this. Not cheap, but so worth the money. Learn UI design and RefactoringUI are the best resources I've found for engineers who want to learn design. I'm just starting Erik's Landing Page course now, and so far it&#x

As a big reMarkable fan, my first thought was how much the results would apply to "digital paper". I can't think of any reason why writing on its paper-like surface wouldn't confer the same benefits. Would love to hear h

Yes, I can do that– the main change is just the amount of space available for the toolbar. Just mention it in the order form and I'll follow up with a custom build

Hey, hyperpaper creator here! One of my long term dreams for the project is to make those pdfs usable as an input source for PKMs like Obsidian. I love the promise of full-featured PKMs (searchability, long-term retention) but I don't

I've found the same, the catharsis of writing the "Daily Notes Pages" [0] is probably the main benefit of these systems. In my case, the immediacy of handwriting has been a better fit than typing for this purpose. I also use

I was curious about this, and my first commit was just 2 weeks before recalendar's! First hacky public "release" was in Nov 2021 :) https://www.reddit.com/r/RemarkableTablet/comments/r5xj85/

Also a note for anyone ordering and not seeing their pdf arrive within ~20 minutes– looks like due to the surge in orders from HN some of the emails are being flagged as Spam, so please check your Spam folder!

It's as big as you want it to be :) Some people build 1000+ page versions, which admittedly can push the filesize up a fair bit, but for the default config it weighs in under 3MB. How the annotations are stored depends on the device yo

That would be pretty amazing, especially given most eInk devices don't have any calendar syncing to speak of. I've used pdfcpu for some CLI pdf processing before and it's been great. Looks like it does have at least some basi

There's currently no way to edit your pdf after purchasing. However if you want any adjustments, just reply to the email with your planner attached, and I'm happy to make modifications and re-send. I've gotten a lot of great

There's nothing in the main ecosystem for getting news content on the device (besides manually sending individual articles to the rM via the chrome extension). I'm working on a project that pulls from RSS/Twitter/Reddit,

Yes you can, in fact you can ssh/scp into the device since it runs Linux and transfer over any .png files to use as templates. It's pretty neat and unusual to be able to do that on a consumer devices these days. Check out https:&
