Yes and it is sad because I see people trying to find problems for ChatGPT and say this is the future.. but the industries they are targeting have such a wide variety of concrete problems for a startup to solve.

Yes, there are theories that these things are all fundamentally monotropism. Then the criticism of the DSM is that it takes monotropic minds in the worst (read negative) environments, and buckets those into disorders like autism and ADHD. D

This ignores the rampant racist/sexist comments often made on IRC/BBS, which were a reflection of society. Anyone who spent a good amount of time in these communities know it was a problem - hence why some very small invite-only c

I am sure there is truth to this, but from my personal experience the death marches I have seen have come from overly complex designs which try to handle all future problems but then fail miserably. Whereas evolving a simple design to be mo

Wiring is a very hard problem in vehicles. It’s why you see physical switches being switched out for a touchscreen, and some of the tech the big automakers are most excited for are, at the end of the day, just to reduce the amount of wiring

I will say entry level security positions can truly suck, and you may be treated with a lack of respect in the org. That said the pay is good, and as the demand goes up I think the positions will become better.

No one is saying you should have 100% job security, or never be let go / fired. People are saying that these mass layoffs and the way they are conducted are harmful to society and not as beneficial to the business as CEOs and investors
