Getting banned from Twitch can have serious career consequences for streamers and potential streamers. I think the real issue is being banned and not having a reliable appeals process to go through. The appeals process takes long enough th

My view on what the thread is saying, is that having everyone aligned on the same page of how to work and communicate means you don’t waste time on arguing on how to work and communicate. Instead things become frictionless and the organizat

Not impossible. I learned from an engineer to go lay down in bed for 30 minutes and stare at the ceiling. It mostly resets the brain.

I think thorough criticisms like this tend to be reposted because it is like a battleground for the mind - rather than being a coordinated effort.

I will push back and say that the current wave of hype is gambling, not ponzi schemes. Some of it is pump and dump but generally there are cryptocurrencies which aren’t. The gambling aspect came to light with many of the new DeFi apps. DeFi

Attack surface, stdlib is one library... packages tends to be hundreds if not more of libraries. Much easier to take over a package than a stdlib.

Staking and inflation don’t have to be bad if everyone can participate in staking and their coins still remain liquid.

In phase 2 for analog circuits and DSP you should brush up on discrete math, calculus, and most importantly learn Laplace transforms . That’s the only thing I see missing.

It sounds like you are suggesting it is not E2EE because keys are backed up to Google/Apple. That’s not true, it still is E2EE. It just by default has a backup of the key. Sure, if your threat model means you are worried about the key

This felt like something I would’ve wrote in an alternate life, several good observations woven into a hate piece that itself feels like an intellectual VC piece of a different era. I feel the article proved Paul Graham’s point in a way, ab

Tezos is interesting, upgrades happen without forks and are voted on-the-chain. It’s developer-friendly and seeing slow adoption with some governments. Allegedly France’s C3N uses it and Reno is testing it with NFTs. Bonus points for it bei

Facebook forcing Oculus to use Facebook accounts is a small drop in the ocean compared to Google’s acquisition of DoubleClick. I find your take to be disingenuous at best. Now if you talked about Onavo we might be on to something.

Seen some comments in denial about this. Just because you haven’t had a personal experience with this doesn’t mean it isn’t real. I’ve just started to hit, what I believe is, the tail end of my residual effects. I’ve measured lower blood

Seems like a waste of resources to build a car capable of 300-400 miles but software lock it to 200 miles. Ideally not okay but obviously we live in a profit seeking world and Elon and co are no different.
