The branches selector is something that is not very useful on github itself for most applications. The network graph on the other hand, is very useful.

Email addresses aren't exactly unique per-person though. I frequently forget which email I've used on a website, but rarely the username (except for ones where I don't get to choose)

My understanding is that, for $3 the author creates a transaction from some wallet of N bitcoins under the author's control, that has a distribution of: 0.000000001 to <hash of document> N - 0.0000000001 - <fee> to o

It's the person that's paying for the product being taxed, and the merchant is merely collecting that tax. At least, that would be my interpretation.

At some level, it doesn't make too much sense to go that much higher in the power (which I'm assuming is the same as discharge rate, since voltage is fixed). Current lipoly batteries are rated at 30C (Amps per watt*hour). Essentially this m

Well 2^48 ~= 2.8 x 10^14, so it's not as bad as you think for the simple words version (which is the same as 8 characters chosen from 64 choices)

Do you think you could perhaps make it faster by doing computer vision and making the mechanism go up-down only and not waiting for the sensor, and then checking the photo while it moves?

It also sort of depends on the scale of copying. Having easily available "download movie from netflix" versus "download movie from shady piracy website". Obviously, the analog hole is always there, so there will always be that vulnerability

Riot doesn't pay out the coins you spend to other people though. If you buy $1 of an app with these amazon coins, they have to pay the developer their $0.70 (or whatever their cut is). Because of this, the whole income can be realized when

When you press the "shut down" button on your computer, it is going into a soft shutdown state. I don't see the problem here. The On/Off icon should be exclusively used for things that physically sever the power source from the device, whic

Isn't the standby mode appropriate for power switches that are momentary toggle switches that started in ATX cases, as opposed to the on/off button which would be appropriate for the AT cases, where the switch is an actual power switch?

More than 10% of the time on facebook, I get a "try out these new games your friends are playing" (even though I've rarely played games on facebook), which takes up roughly the same amount of space as the google+ one does.
