I wish I could upvote this more for "bung" - makes me think of Jay (of Jay of Silent Bob fame) from the Kevin Smith film, Dogma.

Slashdot, reddit, digg and HN are homebrewed software - TechCrunch is a Wordpress install, a little bit of a different kettle of fish. But regardless, I think that with a significant number of people who just troll the comments at techcrunc

Personally I ignore the blatant trolls but I get more and more disheartened by the people who are more or less two-faced. The kind who spout vitriolic comments about people or products via their online identity, but wouldn't have the guts t

Well look at the opposite side of the coin, what if Google researchers do evaluate Bing results and don't find them to be inferior. Google internal documents have been leaked before... ... I think it's better to just leave that Pandora's Bo

Seems like I've finally found a way to Bing for "sex" in India. Actually I found out you can bypass the filter by adding in a generic stop word at the end which the search engine should ignore anyway (I use the word "the") and it will sea

That's a complete fallacy, there is such a thing as bad publicity... either that, or the whole ribbing that mega-corporation Mcdonald's took from Spurlock's "Supersize Me" was imaginary.

I saw your point, I just think that given that mobile phones are now a platform instead of just a device, of course they're going to be influenced by many other devices out there. The fact is, that the iPhone didn't "invent" all this stuff,

There's an easy hack around that I just came up with while throwing terms at Bing and switching locales - just add a stop word (a word that search engines often ignore to conserve space) after the topic you're looking for and you can search

Well, simple question... have you used Bing extensively before today? If so, have you searched for content of a sexual nature and if not, do you honestly care? For all we know, it could have been an oversight on MS's part (the site is less

I think Michael talks about Twitter because he genuinely loves the service. What about all of the posts he did last year when the service kept going down? Do you think all of that negativity was paid for by Twitter too?
