Yeah I get what they are saying, but if anything that supports my argument. Wealthy people might work less when taxes go up, but middle class people have to work more. Poor people might work less because of benefits, but overall the people

This is the can of worms introduced by doing event processing. As soon as you break the ties between request and response a billion questions come up. Asking what happens to the reservation in a request response scenario is just chuck an er

Where is the state stored? What if I have 5 copies of my service now, and 3 later. What happens to the "embedded state"? Was it on the container? Did it just evaporate? Was it on a volume? Is it stuck in limbo? Even if it was put

Taxing the rich 1.wont happen and 2. wont solve it. Taxes are for the middle class to keep them working. They are not there to pay for stuff that we all use and share. If they were there to pay for stuff that we share they would be voluntar

I know but why an iPad and not a laptop? A phone has it's drawbacks yes, but is a very big tradeoff of always being with you, and being tiny. What does an iPad offer over just a laptop?

Right? Like what if the parents of a child who's legs didn't work just pretended they did? How would that play out? Probably would end with a phone call to CPS. Ignoring mental differences is not a solution to the problem. I'

Why would you want to do this with an iPad? That's just a laptop without the accessories. A phone fits in your pocket and you have it with you anyway.

If you also drive less the beetle does make perfect sense. Especially when the car is paid off and you fix it yourself. The fridge may or may not make sense depending on bow long you think your new fridge will go until it fails. Having to b

SQL isn't composable. It would be great if it was, but it isn't. So we can use query builders or write our own, but we're going to have to compose queries at some point.

Why is nature vs nuture always posed as this weird holistic binary. Anyone who has thought about it for more than 3 seconds should understand that not only is it not binary, but also so much of our behavior is shaped independently. Have you

If it worked it would work. If having an informed populace is required for democracy to work then it doesn't work. Especially when you ask the question, "informed about what"?

100% ownership is required. Blaming AI is a craftsman blaming the tools. The craftsman is the one that buys/makes the tools, and maintains them. Things can not have responsibility only people can.

If programming as theory building is any bit true then writing code with an LLM doesn't co UK BT as writing code by hand. At least not wuite the same way. This is the problem. Managers think that the code is the product. It isn't.
