Your words were so simple, but hit me in a place I did not expect. I also had a miserable childhood/adolescence, and I could not help but cry a little reading your words. I feel exactly the same way.

You can't "not really" this away. Most people don't bother looking at small package code, much less code for packages that are far more complex.

I upvoted this article, not because of its significance or because I think it's valuable (in truth, I think it contains a fair amount of slant), but because I'd love to hear some critical discourse on its contents. Good on these e

Yep, one of the many reasons I won't support the organization. At least capitalist/for-profit organizations are honest about who they are.

I will never switch back to Firefox. Not until Mozilla as an organization fundamentally changes. They pretend to be the "good guys" but they're a very different organization than they were 20 years ago.

Your article was the first I thought of when Beeper Mini was released. I knew it had already been done by you and never saw the light of day for a reason!

TBH, I thought the original post was bland. I'm glad I checked the comments, because your comment was a rollercoaster to say the least.

After 5 kids in 10 years, you come to realize that the standards aren't agreed upon, and best practices/recommendations change YEAR TO YEAR without fail. Breastfeeding is one of the worst things hoisted upon mothers who are told &

The article's assumption about the retainer - $2k/month - is its biggest flaw. What are you giving away for $2k/month per client? Seems like it should be much, much higher - and therefore less people total to serve. Seems lik

I have a $2 million/year dev agency w/ 7 employees (50% gross margin) and am curious - how did you land on the salesperson you have? I have not had a single salesperson yet and am wanting to grow, but am afraid of hiring someone w

Completely agree. In terms of the mental gymnastics that Apple fanboys sometimes go through, dynamic island has been the biggest head-scratcher for me in terms of their willingness to defend it.

Wonderful. I love the advent of open source LLMs, and love the turnkey nature of this product. What sold me on ChatGPT was its efficacy combined with its ease of use. As the owner of a consultancy, I find time to do technical exploration to

Agreed, and I think your points will be missed amongst the cacophony of praise for the admittedly-entertaining article. Reminds you that you can dress anything up and people will accept it if it's eloquent and entertaining enough.
