Harsh. No. I just had no idea and would be honestly curious. Just as I would be of any other job I never knew existed!

I think I would thoroughly enjoy job shadowing this person. I'm very curious as to what their day to day activities would be!

Until all programming languages coalesce into one super language (ECMAScript 20 in the year 2050), programmers will bash languages and programmers will praise languages. Until that fateful day we must all accept criticism of our favourite l

I think its naive to believe that even the most tech savvy are immune to phishing. People get tired, hurried, stressed - and during those moments anyone's guard can be let down.

"We have now lots of choices, except the choice that was the default for most of human history: have a boring job, marry, have kids, see the kids have boring jobs themselves, and die." Really? I'd say we have an easier time

I'd have to disagree. More and more constrained as compared to what time in history? Video games, and all the media choices available we have are a direct result of not being constrained. And supposing that we are playing more and mor

You should seek to understand the importance of older technology and the problems it solved rather than judging the individual for feeling pride in knowing it. If more people did this we wouldn't be solving the same problems over and o

Nice. I remember when I was begging my manager to switch from our classic ASP/JScript/MS SQL/Java Applet stack to .NET and he refused saying that it was not mature enough. Good Times.

I think webforms, or JSF, or coldfusion at the time served a critical purpose. In the early 2000s most of the growing web was indeed just forms with state (much of it still is). It's obviously changed much since then with client-side

I think this is a fair assessment. You can't really say .NET Core carte blanche without these kind of parameters. Especially if the enterprise space is primary on windows servers. I think having an understanding of both would be ide

The easiest and quickest way for the Private Equity company to make your business more profitable is through layoffs. They eventually want to sell the company to make a profit for their investors. In many cases this requires layoffs.

I think Web API was just intended to be a lightweight replacement for RESTful API in WCF. WCF does so much more, the most popular probably being SOAP, but I believe it does much more in the messaging, queue, workflow space as well.
