But you know you don’t have root access before buying. Why would you buy it if you want root access?

It’s impressive how many people downvote this actually über reasonable opinion…

Love this. I continue to believe Torrenting is the best way to share files, particularly big files, rather than uploading them to some cloud instance with questionable privacy policies…

   so?

It’s the “Do you want to share XXX” popup all over again. Once you get used to see it, it will be a part of the shutdown command (to take the example in the readme).

This for the case where you think you type it locally but are actually typing it remotely. But I’d personally never type this locally so this use case is not convincing at all for me.

I don’t see the point though. That it’s impossible to know all of git’s options by heart? I mean that’s obvious and true of most software ( https://xkcd.com/1168/ though this one is not actually hard).

Are you being sarcastic? I can’t find the --delete option in git-switch man page.
9. 939.▲
   by frizlab 2y ago

or the shorter `git switch -d`

Fortunately this does not work in Safari where the rendering is done natively.

There are many ways in which a cloud suite can fail. I was the guy zie is talking about for many years though it was not my main job.

I’m not sure about that. I also searched for other indicators that the link was actually valid.

I left it long enough for it to be discovered but I was around. I wasn't fined on the spot for some reasons and received the fine later.

Swift has a de-facto logging library: swift-log (by Apple, with levels and structured logging; not sure about hierarchy as I don’t know what you mean by that).

I got way worse. I was fined for leaving an unattended baggage at the train station for a bit. The fine came through an SMS message redirecting to a domain which I had to whois to verify was owned by the train company…

I don’t know about the rest, but I’m sure Terminal supports italic.

    That’s completely untrue.

I love Terminal. I tried iTerm2 but never got the appeal and switched back to Terminal.

Why do people ask “please” to an LLM is beyond me. It’s a machine, it does not care about politeness! Treat it as a machine ffs.

Wouldn’t subtrees fix this instead of a mono-repo? Or even ( gasp ) submodules?

Actalis does do free S/MIME certificates for private use, but they do not allow using your own CSR. They generate the private key for you and allow you to download it, but the key stays on the server forever AFAICT.
