Me too, I am looking always for more modern planes, as they are often quieter - e.g. Airbus A380. Or at least not sitting near the jet engines.

Interesting is that all Google related news (in the last two weeks) got flagged/hidden ("it's the algorithm", "it's the user", blabla). And now HN had time to post their own opinion piece - this one stays.

Now that Intel got competition again with very competitive new AMD CPUs, Intel is releasing "new" CPU to the public that waited in their basement for some time. AMD CPUs are a lot faster than they hoped, so Intel has to skip one g

I can code in Julia, Python, R and Matlab. It's just the ignorance of some from the AI field. R and Matlab might be good for prototyping but not for long running stable web server applications. Julia is still too new. Python syntax has

Prototype based inheritance (e.g. JavaScript, Lua) is a much better concept. (It's much more powerful and allows you even to implement class based inheritance.) Also functional programming has its benefits. The 1990s/2000s with th

I bought a PlayStation 4 and couldn't be happier, and I keep Win7 around for old games. The "new Microsoft" sucks big time, and they drive the company against the wall - Win10/WinPhone10/Xbone crash.
