I absolutely agree with the article. Most people don't realize that their productivity will become shitty if you introduce little sleep, bad food and no exercise - so why would you artificially work with exactly these things to finish your

Awesome list, I'd add the iTunesU course CS193P (Fall 2011) and Treehouse - with these resources, you're more than set! Also: +1 for the interest in the apps you released.

Yes, check out Treehouse, very hands-on and updated (explains all the nitty gritty new stuff of iOS 5) (if you like it, I'd appreciate you using my referral link: http://referrals.trhou.se/freshfey - thanks! :))!

In the foundation interview he did with Kevin Rose (and somewhere on Quora I believe) he mentions that he took some CS classes, but didn't really excel in any of them. So it's probably the influence of Google (where he worked on the Marketi

The way I understand it, it means missed days, opportunities and chances. Every day you try to trick the system (meaning life), it teaches you by taking away a day from you. Now it can take that day in a good way (you learnt something) or i

Love it. I'd add a video which shows the swiping motion, though. P.S. which resources did you use to learn iOS programming?

Beautiful. May I ask what resources you used to learn iOS hacking? Also: What's that font?

Awesome write up, Danielle. I'm heavily rooting for you (because you're a [late] self-taught programmer and have an incredible drive!) and I wish you good luck! Go Refer.ly! :)

Do the investors get to see the company's exact exact numbers (DAU, MAU, Revenue, etc) before they invest? I assume they do, but wouldn't those numbers get to the public somehow?

I agree completely, a little hack for #5 however: Call the courier company and ask for the drivers (direct, cell) number, he can give you a 30 min. window. He even told me that is always better to get the drivers number, because the central

I might get downvoted for this, but don't learn to program if you don't have to. Do it for a few weeks, try it out and if you like it, keep going, otherwise, don't even bother. Try to find your strengths you could bring into a startup after

For those of you who don't know, Sahil applied for YC and didn't get an interview [1] (I think this was before Pinterest and turntable.fm) - a great reminder that YC can help you succeed, but isn't necessary. [1]: http://askolo.com/sahil#4

Ask Johannes Reck, he's the CEO and Co-Founder of GetYourGuide (HQ in Berlin I believe) and a very smart and friendly entrepreneur. His twitter handle: @JohannesReck. You can mention me, but I don't think that it'll be necessary :)
