It would be dangerous if everybody not poor wanted nothing to do with poor areas and poor people. All kinds of poverty counted. That is the direct route to segregated communities and cultures of poor and rich, as seen already many places, e

Yeah, no, I don't think that is the job for an IDE. Maybe for you on your desktop, but your software should work regardless of any IDE or editor.

I could easily imagine @Taek (working for NSA) reading your comment and shitting his pants, realising you just touched on the holy grail and wanting to put you off the idea of you putting your own custom crypto on top of industry standard b

It's not only the communication between the task and the GUI that is slowing things down (if it is at all, which I doubt). Even more, I think, it's the fact that macOS, the OS in question, has some conventions for windows, control

More power efficient which is key because I use a laptop all the time, and often on battery power. It fits better with macOS conventions compared to Chrome and Firefox. It's faster. Safari content blockers (I use 1Blocker) seems to not

Which other llvm-based language to you recommend? Swift is, to me, elegant and intuitive to use, quick to write, and supports a lot of nice features which you don't find in say C++, and supports stuff that, say, Rust lacks support for.

`pip install` should only be for the default way that projects define dependencies, where the default is the way . Were we to have both pipfile, and requirements.txt, and maybe a third, and a fourth option, I don't think `pip install`

No, and I think it would be great to be able to just call `pip install` and have it use the pipfile if available.

Might be good if she didn't leave a trail like the one she has left with the Gaddafi, Iraq+Syria and ISIS, Haiti, and so on and so on. Really, she hasn't achieved much good for the world if any. She is good at being a power person

I never knew about this. Thanks! When I do this, it opens a new window with the "attached tmux running inside" and the old window is running in "tmux mode". Is it possible to not have a new window open, but use the windo

The only time I remember having a problem with Homebrew is in the summer where I'll run some beta version of the new macOS on a testing machine while trying to use Homebrew which does not support the beta. Other than that it never fail

That might be true. I dunno. Its just what I have understood from professionals that won't switch. If that is neither the case, well then I don't know why they are still hanging around. Might be UI and shortcuts familiarity, I gue

I use Pixelmator, Sketch and Photos. It works well for me. What I hear from graphics designers and photographers though is that they are not powerful enough, and to get them to switch requires more powerful features. Until the alternatives

I just wish somebody would make a replacement that made everybody want to switch away from Photoshop and all the other Adobe products and onto the replacement, and be satisfied with it. Adobe is too comfortable. They have no reason to fix t

Say what you want. Your government and your election is controlled by money and corporations. You are correct that USAs leaders have much more power than the leaders of my country. I will give you that. Your elected officials are probably b

I couldn't have said it better. Nobody is choosing either Trump or Clinton. They are voting for the alternative against either Trump or Clinton.

I only have very little Rust experience, and would like to hear from a Rust veteran - as much as one can be - if that is considered good Rust, or if it's just an example of how bad Rust can be if you don't know what you're do

Watching the events from Europe, the thing about USA and democracy is that it's blatantly obvious how bad things are, all while your media and governments are acting like everything is great and USA is the greatest country in the world

Or platform specific versions using native tooling, sharing only what can be shared under the hood, and ending up with great apps? Yeah, what am I thinking? I know that will probably will never happen, but it would be awesome if it did...

+1. Doesn't work for me in chrome either. The images (or whatever they are) doesn't load at all, but just show up gray with the text that they couldn't load. Better than choking like Safari does though.

I dread the bubble screen. Having used watchOS 3 for months, I cannot remember having used it for months. It's just not how you do it anymore. You either pin apps in the dock, which is awesome, or as a complication on one of your watch

I suspect many would like to run something more open than OS X/macOS, but because of the alternatives, it's just not viable for business purposes not to, according to what their needs are. I know that is the situation for me.
