TIL that types should be listed first in the export map thanks to that tool. I don't think it bothered anyone consuming my packages, but better be spec compliant and update them all. Thanks for sharing! https://publint.dev&#

`tsc` is extremely slow to transpile TypeScript sources into JavaScript. It's invaluable for typechecking, but for transpilation there are much better solutions like SWC or tsup [1] (which nicely wraps esbuild and Rollup). [1] https:&

Some of the syntactic sugar is very nice, but the overhead of transpiling that to TypeScript to get type checking, then to JS for runtime seems excessive.

The reply where one asks ChatGPT if it's an anagram of Satoshi Nakamoto made me laugh. Not because of the answer, but because of even thinking of using an LLM to figure out it can't be.

Not all languages are created equal though. When driving in the UK, I use the American English voice which gives more precise directions, like street names. The British English voice doesn't (just "turn left, turn right").

I don't mind the overall style, but it could use a bit more contrast. It took me a while to realise those are the actual colors and it wasn't a modal background overlay, half-left over by my adblocker. Big money ruined the open we

The example is given for the `react` package, but any package shows 0 downloads for 2023-09-13 and 2023-09-14. I raised the issue with them on 2023-09-15, and it seems to have been resolved since, but it looks like the data for these two da
