Okay, so these are the kinds of things that definitely need a citation ;) In what sense do you mean reading minds? Genuine mind reading, or basically a kind of intuiting about human intention based on say, body language?

If corruption increases said economic activity, is it a good? If destruction of the environment increases certain economic activity, is it a good? I'm not saying these things are similar to advertising, but the reasoning is flawed. Th

I am at a loss for alternatives, but I am skeptical about advertising. Not in a completely general sense, but what bothers me is that much of it is manipulative. It uses images, sounds and movies in certain progressions to influence me, so

Additionally I wonder how bloody (vs. clean) past coups have been; seeing videos of civilians under fire, so this doesn't seem to be the most benevolent of coups.

This assumes Erdogan is rational or that he would be quite concerned with the lives of those going outside (something which could be true, but his dealings with earlier uprisings give me doubt). Mass protests against the coup (even if Erdog

That seems to be a sane way to go about it; but that is what you would do. Question is: would others. The broader argument that Bertil makes (I think) is that these decisions aren't being made based on aversion to your individual cho

Context was not provided however - an article that calls researchers bimbos is not one I take on its word. Was the raw data refused? And why was it refused? Perhaps because they were, as the original article states, prepping the study for

But then I wonder, how do you enforce the latter rule? ('the "opposite side" has to provide evidence of the same high standard'). Generally it seems like a lot of the media at least, which serve as a gatekeeper of sorts

A browser is much easier to use. Every computer has a browser and no place blocks said browser. This means that when you're not near your dev machine, you can easily use another machine to log on, regardless of what software it has and

You seem quite certain that the research is invalid and quite certain of your systemic racism hypothesis. I would invite you to find evidence for your hypothesis in the actual study results. For your hypothesis that the study results are sk

The study accounted for both income and area income. So while there may be a confounding factor, I assume wealth is out of the picture. It doesn't seem to have accounted for population density however.

While the study doesn't seem to have taken into account the houses' values, it has taken into account income (as the article states) and area income (the article doesn't state this). I do not know if that's enough to cor
