Vector art produces bad results. So, no thanks. The problem is the ridiculous number of varying Android resolutions. There, we have to be flexible. But still not going to use vectors.

Sounds like you just have an incompatible approach to quality, and you're selling a shoddy product. Your idea of "good enough" almost certainly isn't. Users do notice even if you're too pigheaded to admit it.

2647 connections per server per second is pretty abysmal for modern server hardware, especially if you had to rely on a whole bunch of caching front-end complication and proxy web servers to make it happen.
