I just installed Plex on my Ubuntu media server and bought the Plex for Android app on my Xoom and it works amazingly well. Beware of networking issues if your wifi is on a different subnet than your server: http://forums.plexapp.com/inde

I just set up s3fs on my linux server ( http://code.google.com/p/s3fs/wiki/FuseOverAmazon ) and pointed it at Google Storage for Developers ( http://code.google.com/apis/storage/docs/getting-started.htm... ). It's intended for use with S3
