TweetDeck is one of the most popular Twitter clients. Columns are used to display feeds for different keywords, events, lists, groups, DMs, etc

Sorry, I know this is not a PR review but if you are live coding anyway then: Nit #1: images (or emojis) on either side of the text you added are not displayed in iOS Safari. Nit #2: I am getting horizontal scrolling in iOS Safari (no conte

Looks great! I have been actively reducing my blog and social media exposure and this might help clean up the remaining experience even more. Somewhat tangential: does anyone know if there is a way to subscribe to the local timeline RSS fee

In this case one doesn’t even need to be a visual person. I can’t even understand what this app does without a screenshot.

There can be weird issues if you use other extensions, especially content blockers. So in my case I had to enable AdGuard Pro first and only then Kagi.

I have not. I prefer finding these unspoken trusts in other sources, personas like Tate are too mind-polluting for me.

I guess you are right! I just personally can relate much more to punk culture than to Tate. But the focus on the insult is probably very similar.

Oh Limbaugh! He was popular before my time, and the more I learn about him the more I am puzzled by who would enjoy listening to something like what you describe.

Right, that’s the word I was looking for! However, my, perhaps incomplete, recollection of famous provocateurs of the past was centered around acts like Salvador Dali walking around with his anteater, rather than a misogynist kickboxer rant

Are these contrarian/scandalous/unapologetically insulting figures a new phenomenon or have they always been a part of pop culture? Seems like Tate-like or Yiannopoulos-like personas are attracting a lot of media coverage.

I noticed that some PMs (and now also engineers) use “tab” in place of “page”. So “adding a tab” means “adding a page”. I was very confused by that and still have to double check what they mean each time.

I wouldn’t. Ultimately search is a business that is built on trust, and Google has failed it.

You absolutely can! I got working after installing the extension and restarting Safari.

Kagi is in fact better for me very frequently. I customized it to my liking and it shows better results than Google. Sure, I would be able to find the same content on Google, but that would require using keywords for site or file type. With

Totally understandable! I didn’t mean that the people who don’t enjoy programming anymore are in some way inferior to others. Just that other projects or professions could offer them more joy.

I am curious: have you tried ADHD stimulants like Adderall before? And if you have, how does lion’s mane effect differ?

Great insight! Never considered how much I am relying on instinct when coding. Now thinking about it - it plays a very important role.

TBH even in those corners professors often have either a very outdated idea of programming or a surprisingly bad practical skill set.

I rarely see programming as a chore. It’s a creative process that engages me in the most challenging and enjoyable ways. Not sure whether my experience is common…. But maybe if someone feels like programming is a chore most of the time it’s

Interesting. This is starting to look like gross negligence that might bite LogMeIn really hard.

I could rephrase my point the third time but don't think that would help. The fact that you both reject the idea that class war is central to Marxism and call yourself a "class reductionist" in the same sentence only further

A long password doesn't mean much by itself. If it has been previously leaked in a different breach, reused, is relatively easily brute-forced - then yes, you need to worry about that. The bigger problem is: even if you are safe right

Google nuked an old email address of mine which was using a custom domain (free Workspace account). That email contained all my correspondence for a period of about 10 years. No way to restore it, no way to flag it to anyone at Google. I ha

I feel this way but this is wishful thinking. It's more likely that they will transition even more into a gray privacy territory by marketing LastPass to less and less tech-savvy users, eventually bundling it for free with some spammy

A complete noob question (I am not a gamer and not a game developer): Is this a big thing? I.e. is this enough to start a community-driven effort to create an open source alternative to something like GTA (at least in gameplays I watched tr

By the "original movement" I mean Woodrow Wilson and such, which was not neo-liberal. The modern progressive movement is still left-leaning, at least by American standards (yes, quite different from European).

Less waterproof? Oh no, how will we all be able to continue diving with our iPhones? This is such a common trans-European tradition, I fail to see how we will ever adapt to this change.

Just stay in the US and dump twice more e-waste into your local environment to compensate for those pesky Europeans.
