I haven't kept up with the ALR 6x6 movement since 2002-03 but a the time only Windows (NT AFAICR) would properly utilize all six of the cores. That may still be the case.

From your original comment I got the impression that there was a Forth collective somewhere on a commune in Wyoming. I was VERY interested in that but will settle for the wisdom of the Forth luminaries.

I wrote both of these functions and conjoin and disjoin were definitely considered but were ultimately dismissed to avoid confusion with `conj` and `disj`. The chosen names were meant to echo `some?` and `every?`.
