And yet I wonder why this is supposed to be an integral part of the Python ecosystem. Q: Now you want to build your Fortran extension with a compiler supporting OpenACC. What now? This should show relatively clear that this tool is just an

I don't understand what the problem is: 1) you install ONE version of python, more can't coexist in your environment usually 2) then you install your packages in a venv (because python provides tools to configure this) Only part

yes. And unfortunately it seems that the "port" extenders you can buy don't support DP and after I bought a seemingly DP-capable cable of AMZ and sanded it down (it didn't work) I stopped.

I'm fine with devices offering different capabilities. But the cables should be marked clearly... I have one of the chinese drawing tablets, which has a convoluted "to USB-C" adapter. Apparently you can also drive it with USB

I recommend you check out info on Syria, where German-armed, NATO-integrated Turkish troops did a little special operation (and failed in a similar way against much worse equipped Kurds/Islamists) and American and Russian special force

Then how will wayland tell me, which container a window comes from? (besides that, most software I use in containers is very much preeee-wayland). Thanks for the correction on toolbox, I know remember again, why I have my own bwrap-wrapper.

well, depending on what you do, you usually need access to the dri-device, the X11-driver and X11 (socket). This is relatively insecure I suppose because it exposes a giant attack-surface. Everything trying to mitigate this (short of runnin

First problem is that proper (incl. X11...) isolation costs you 3D (so not great for Firefox). Otherwise there is "toolbox" by Fedora, which you could surely combine with Xephyr for a wine-like, more isolated experience. I do that

I wonder why you've not teamed up with some uni-lab, they usually have some hardware and also some free labor if you share credits. A single GPU also means, whatever your idea, it probably would have finished already on a CPU ;).

nuclear is far from dirt-cheap. And we don't currently do it in Germany (France does and its grid nearly goes down every other winter). So, where will we get all this fresh uranium from (and the reactors to stick it into)?
