I did that exact hike in 2014 and didn't know that. That's incredible! It is the most beautiful place I have ever seen with my eyes for sure. I highly agree with your recommendation.

So the guy sues them, settles for $20k, sues them again for a different reason, and has the audacity to say he wants to appear on another episode and think there's even a chance of that happening?

True, but this tell you nothing about percentage of profitable companies versus the number of companies who make games full time. Most games are not made by fulltime mobile dev companies doing so as their sole income. And my point with the

Hmm, interesting question. I would say it's just rarer to make a sustainable business from it with no experience and existing users today, because you have no room for error or experimentation. For example it took us 5 failures before

Sure, and to be fair to author, my point wasn't made to combat his article. I was more responding to the headline which reminded me of the "indieapocalypse" articles that make news all the time. Sorry to hear it didn't w

I hear this myth perpetuated incessantly. (That there's no more middle ground in the app store, only the Clash of Clans and Candy Crushes and the rest with no downloads). People paint the picture that it's the top 0.1% and everyo

It's not all that great to be super advanced in math very early either. I tested out of pre algebra in 7th grade because my dad basically taught me it over the summer. Took geometry in 8th grade. Took algebra 2 at community college ove

That's really neat. I'm tracking with how you are getting everything but the year offset. Could you explain where that's from? (E.g. why is 2016 +1 and 2014 -1?) Is it just determined by anchoring at Thursday Jan 1st for 2015

Interesting that a lot of the top rated articles over the year have been political, not strictly (or sometimes even remotely) technical.

Then get ready to have to daily respond to an unwanted popup dialog trying to force you to update. It's infuriating that Apple thinks it's ok to repeatedly harass you to update with NO option to turn off the prompts. This issue al

I did that once and the review got removed for "not appropriate" or something. I'm sure the seller flagged it for review for amazon knowing since I reviewed the seller and not the product, he could get it removed. (Which does

I wonder if instead of it being an integer underflow issue, it has to do with a divide-by-zero issue (if something ever is divided by the entered date).

If you're making (mobile) games and looking for a replacement, I cannot recommend Gamesparks[1] highly enough. Their documentation is way behind Parse's (which has excellent docs), but their features (relevant to games) and custom
