The post-mortem of this administration is going to be horrific. It may sound conspiracy-theoryish now, but if things play out how we've seen from so many other examples of bad behavior from this administration, I can't help but th

LEDs get a lot of attention from people without any kind of training with electronics, but they aren't as simple as people think - LEDs consume a lot of power . If someone isn't careful and doesn't know what they are doing,

Pretty simple to do this honestly, it's been done many times before. There are phone apps that do this that have been around for a while. After all it's just assigning an x/y value to a position that a color was detected at.

It really depends on the job - I'm interviewing jr. devs, and a lot of these questions are good for testing their basic knowledge. Not every front-end job is about cutting-edge javascript.

The 75th anniversary of the first nuclear bomb test was just a few days ago, on July 16th. It's been in the news a bit lately, and this topic is related.

I don't know of any company that would be using a public VPN service for anything related to work. Typically "work VPNs" are running on systems that the employer controls, set up by someone employed by the company, and meant

Didn't Twitter buy "Moxie Marlinspike"'s company specifically to get him to fix their security? I guess they didn't really get much out of that. Now I'm starting to get nervous about the security of Signal.

The fact that doctors generally don't ask about a patients diet says more about doctors than it does about the importance of what you eat. Diet has a huge influence on so many aspects of health and well being.

Hobbyists don't make up even a tiny sliver of their revenue. And if you're a hobbyist and paying any money at all for Analog Devices (or other semiconductor manufacturer's parts) then you're kinda doing it wrong - most o

That applies to other animals, but not humans. It's almost bizarre that you would assert that because the exact opposite is true. Humans are in every way more "advanced" than other animals on the planet precisely because the

I don't think an artificial intelligence has to resemble anything we would recognize as human intelligence, while still being "intelligent". The motivations of humans and the motivations of computers are very different. If we
