I deleted my reddit account last week after 13 years. It's really gone down hill, the level of discussion there is simply awful. Not visiting the site after a week has really been a good change. Reddit probably jumped the shark a while ago, in the last 2 or 3 years it's been toxic garbage. There are alternatives, I tried notabug.io for a few weeks, but realized the racist brigade is already infesting that corner of the web. I'm having a lot less fun on the internet lately than I had 20 years ago.
