   apple is also fanatic about battery life. it's just that the "phone" is no longer a phone, it's a mini-computer which by accident also does audio connections over a certain wireless technology ...

   we need people like stallman and organisations like GNU, EFF & co. desperately. their goals might not be reachable, cause reality is rarely pure, but to me it's a principal necessity. why? it's the counter weight to the micros
