Thanks for the correction and updating the post. I typically read corporate posts as cynically as possible, since it's so common to word things in any way to make the company look better. Glad to see an outlier!

That 30% is of ALL users, not users who made a request, important to note the weasel wording there. How many users forget they have a sub? How many get a sub through work and don't use it often? I'd bet a large number tbh based on

If you paid for a streaming service and the HD option only worked for a random subset of users, and not you, would you complain? It's a material difference in the product, not just "a bug."

And yet no offers of credits to make things right for the users, for what was essentially degraded performance of what you paid for. I know I'll probably get push back on this, but it left a sour taste in my mouth when I paid for a $20

I wasn't trying to say they intentionally do it. I was trying to say that systemic issues (such as load capacity) seem to degrade the models in US working hours and has been noticed by a non-zero number of users (myself included).

To back up that observation: I've seen a LOT of commentary on social media that Anthropic models (Claude / Opus) seem to degrade in capability when the US starts it's workday vs when the US is asleep.

I have a pretty odd grid setup myself for a 55" TV monitor. Best part is holding shift and being able to snap a window to multiple zones. Let's me have a grid with tons of smaller zones that are useful for various apps when I need

Or someone told Tim "we can save $XYZ per phone if we switch to custom designed silicon, and potentially expand it to Mac as well so we no longer have Intel overheating our Macbooks." He was after-all more of an operations guy tha

$20/mo plan doesn't include opus (the larger model) like the $100+ plans do, it's likely they are hitting the opus limit which is fairly low.

IIRC: Like Google Glass and VR headsets, they use some optical tricks to focus at infinity. So to your eyes you're focusing at an object 2-3+ meters away rather than 2-3 cm in reality.

That's why OP mentioned a spicy HDMI splitter. HDMI splitters are allowed to break HDCP, which means that protection doesn't really matter. I use a setup like this frequently for work to demo our Android TV based apps with full co

FWIW 2.5-exp was the only one that managed to get a problem I asked it right, compared to Claude 3.7 and o1 (or any of the other free models in Cursor). It was reverse engineering ~550MB of Hermes bytecode from a react native app, with each

The leaf on the darker grapes looks like a fabric leaf, I'd kinda bet they're all fake for these demos / testing. Don't need the robot to smash a grape when we can use a fake grape that won't smash.
