I've been part of r/EthTrader that is one of the subreddits that has this feature and had it for about 2 years now. Dynamics within subreddit members got so bad that the subreddit split, and now almost all the action happens in r&

Delightfully meta. I'm really loving some of these words, and might seriously consider using some of them.

MetaMate, your logo looks exactly like MimbleWimble logo, just with W flipped to become an M. Not cool.

The game I like to play, Destiny 2, suffers from a lot of cheaters. Players don't complain about too much anti-cheat: they complain about too little, and urge Bungie to adopt stricter controls. Many wouldn't even think twice about

I don’t find this convincing at all. Proposed system is incredibly privacy-conscious, with all the control of self-reporting left to the user. Let’s not stop this initiative that protects health and safety of societies that can trust their

Looks interesting! I'll echo some other comments about the visual noise. From what I can see, each person has their own color and it is stable across contexts. It's a curious design solution. There are certainly some things gained

Safari already was lagging behind Chrome, Chrome forks and Firefox in a lot of feature adoption. This will only make it more of a "new Internet Explorer", a browser that sites recommend you NOT to use.

Anybody know what happened to Stage? Google acquired two great tools, Form and Pixate, and announced[0] that they are building a prototyping tool from both of these teams. That was the last we heard about Stage. [0]: https://desi

It's an ok release. Occasional "This app wants to access your Desktop" notification is annoying, but otherwise very few problems. Also, I barely used iTunes before so can't say how much would I find missing in Music.

Compound is a lending protocol. Maybe because lending happens in cryptocurrencies you want to classify that as gambling — but then there are actual gambling smart contracts, and also you can do lending in stable cryptocurrencies that are mu

Crypto space if indeed full of scams, due to a poisonous combination of money, hopeful returns, and a degree of anonimity. But I find the concept of dapps fascinating. I could even make a prediction that early dapps might eventually become

Unrelated, but this comment has a very nice HN id, 22222222 ( https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=22222222 ). And that happens almost on 2020-02-02. Congrats.

Yeah, it's clearly a knockoff. They even borrowed the idea of having five red, dot-separated letters above the screen. S.U.P.E.R. probably means nothing, but if Casio has it, Kenko must have it too.
