For laptops, one of the main limiting factors is the "width when in a bag", or simply the "height". Standard 15"/16" is the limit of most backpack widths. Going to 3:2 or 4:3 would simply mean a narrower s

Coinbase used to have an Index Fund weighted by market cap. Launced in 2018[0], it was shut down just a couple of months later[1]. From the articles at the time, it seems that the major reason for the shut down was that the market was going

From what I can understand from their official dashboard, the answer is no: https://stats.rsk.co RSK MainNet launched about 3 years ago. Currently, most blocks have no transactions, with 0 gas spent.

Migrating from PoW took about 2-3 years for Ethereum, required massive changes to economic model, and developing all new clients. Ethereum leadership is still somewhat centralized, so this did not lead to multiple competing forks. Doing the

I am incredibly happy about this. It's the first step for a major cryptocurrency towards ledger security that does not damage the environment via mining. I always hated how wasteful and energy-inefficient mining is. Staking reduces ene

None of the suggestions in the post would increase the complexity. I like the way Apple redesigned the home screen experience this year: a LOT more features, but all are gradually discovered. App Library discovered when you "hide"

I like this approach. Everything it does can be achieved by OBS with a couple of plugins, but this is a very user-friendly packaging of great looking presets: use cases over technology. Also, super fun name.

It would be interesting to take all the measures that refer to real objects (tablespoons, feet, stones, etc...) and to compare them to whatever "average" of actual objects we can devise.

That is going to be my 2021. Definitely not a launch per week, but aiming to launch a new project every 2 months. I suspect some will even generate something like $1.60!

That's quite a rant, so I'll pick out probably the core message: As a designer your work must be detached of workflow sentiments. Tools are tools. Nothing more. I can make a great UI with Inkscape any day I want. As softw
